Neighbors Vote Montana Specialties Construction, LLC a Nextdoor 2026 Fave Awards Winner in Nextdoor's 10th Annual Local Business Awards
WILLIAMSPORT, PA, October 13, 2026 - Montana Specialties Construction, LLC has been named a 2026 Nextdoor Fave Awards winner, the annual awards program that recognizes local businesses most loved by neighbors.
The Williamsport general contractor serves homeowners and businesses across Lycoming County and surrounding areas. The company handles bathroom and kitchen remodeling, decks, flooring, additions, repairs, interior finishing, framing, and grading and excavation. It also won a Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave in 2025, which makes 2026 a second year in a row.
This year's Fave Awards winners will receive greater visibility on the Nextdoor app and in neighbor search results, a Fave Awards badge on their Nextdoor Business Page, and a "2026 Nextdoor Fave Winner" sticker to display in their storefront or on their vehicle.
"For years, local businesses have grown through genuine word of mouth, and the Fave Awards put a name and a spotlight on that trust," said Nirav Tolia, Nextdoor Co-Founder and CEO. "Every vote in this year's awards comes from a real, verified neighbor, not a star rating or an algorithm. That's what makes winning a Fave Award mean something: your community chose you."
Neighbors chose 2026 Nextdoor Fave winners by voting during Nextdoor's dedicated award window from September 9 to September 30, 2026. Every vote instantly counted as a Fave too, so winners are the businesses their neighbors trust and vouch for directly, not the ones with the most stars or the best-placed ads.
"I've been at this over 30 years, and this one means a lot because it came from my neighbors, not from a panel. People here voted for the work we did in their homes. I'm grateful to every customer who took the time, and we'll keep showing up and doing it right," said Michael Manifold, owner of Montana Specialties Construction, LLC.
Fave Awards winners are chosen from among nearly 6.6 million businesses on Nextdoor, based on Faves and votes from more than 110 million verified neighbors.
